A. No. Crest Mountain borders the
city limits and consequently enjoys some city services without
the taxes.
Q. What is the current
property tax rate at Crest Mountain?
A. Current tax rate is .68 per $100 of assessed market
value, which is typically determined by purchase price until
it is re-assessed by the county (once every four years.)
Q. Is Crest Mountain gated?
A. Yes, the community of Crest Mountain is gated. Unless
the homeowners association wishes otherwise, there will always
be a 24-hour watchman at the gatehouse.
Q. Is there a minimum
square footage requirement for homes built at Crest Mountain?
A. Yes. Homes in Phase One must be a minimum of 2500
square feet.

covenants in place at Crest Mountain?

Q. What about the architectural
style of homes on Crest Mountain?
A. Crest Mountain homes will fall under three main
architectural styles: Craftsman, French Cottage/Manor, and
English Cottage/Manor. The architectural guidelines are available

Q. Does Crest Mountain
restrict property owners to their preferred builders?
A. No. However, Crest Mountain will gladly recommend
builders at our owners request. Builders who are not
already on our recommended list must demonstrate
a history of financial stability, environmental sensitivity,
safety, and customer satisfaction.
Q. Does Crest Mountain
offer home packages that include blueprints for
homes already approved by the Architectural Review Board?

Q. What utilities are
provided at Crest Mountain?
A. All utilities will be underground. Crest Mountain
will have power, cable, and natural gas to all lots in Phase
One. Most will have city water, and all will have sewer. The

Q. When will Phase Two
be available?
A. Phase Two is tentatively scheduled to open in 2005.
